Cadodex is a non-custodial decentralised exchange. Because you connect via your own wallet, we do not collect personal identifying information such as your name, email address, or government-issued ID. This policy explains what limited data we do interact with and how it is used.

2. Data We Collect

We collect or process the following categories of information:

• Wallet address — used to identify your session, display your rewards balance, and attribute referrals. This is public on-chain data.
• Transaction data — swap history and point balances stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and reflected from on-chain state.
• Analytics — aggregated, anonymised usage data (page views, feature interactions) collected via Vercel Analytics. No cookies are set and no individual user is tracked.
• Log data — standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) retained for security and debugging purposes and deleted on a rolling 30-day basis.

3. How We Use Your Data

Data is used solely to:

• Operate and improve the Cadodex platform.
• Calculate and display rewards balances and leaderboard rankings.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or protocol manipulation.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Cadodex does not use tracking cookies. Your rewards state and swap history are stored in your browser's localStorage tied to your wallet address. This data never leaves your device except as part of on-chain transactions you explicitly authorise.

5. Third-Party Services

Cadodex integrates with third-party services including wallet providers (RainbowKit, WalletConnect), RPC node providers, and token price feeds. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them independently.

6. Data Retention

Because most data is either on-chain (permanent and public by nature) or stored locally in your browser (and deletable by you at any time by clearing site data), Cadodex has limited control over retention. Server logs are purged on a 30-day rolling basis.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold about you. Since we do not link wallet addresses to personal identities, exercising these rights may be limited in practice. Contact us via our community channels if you have a specific request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
